Executive Assistant (Full-Time)

Help unite and mobilize God’s people to address Spartanburg’s deepest needs.

If you’re someone who thrives on bringing order to chaos, anticipates needs before they’re spoken, and wants your work to make a real impact in your community—this role is for you.

This isn’t your typical Executive Assistant position. It’s a front-row seat to leadership, ministry, and mission in action. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director and interact with many community partners—helping to drive meaningful work across Spartanburg County.

We’re looking for someone who is not only organized and dependable, but also mission-minded, proactive, and energized by serving others. If you’re the kind of person who connects people, moves projects forward, and sees purpose in serving those around you who need it the most—you’ll thrive here.

Position Overview: The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative, organizational, and strategic support to the Executive Director under the oversight of the Board of Directors. More than a traditional administrative role, this position is a central hub of communication and coordination—connecting leadership, staff, board members, donors, volunteers, and community partners.

This role uniquely supports the Executive Director in two aligned capacities: Executive Director of Come Closer and Pastor of The Journey. Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to Come Closer and 25% supporting responsibilities related to The Journey.

This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of structured office time and flexible, remote work.
