WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BUSINESS NETWORK GROUPS?

  • Our meetings with business leaders are closed meetings. We won’t put you in a room with those who are attending in pursuit of their own agenda and support.

  • We don’t do politics.

  • We have a singular focus on making a local Kingdom impact together.

  • There are no required dues or fees.

WHAT IS THE “ASK?”

Simple. The primary “ask” is to be part of a larger partnership effort among Christian churches, businesses, and individuals to address Spartanburg’s deepest needs.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?

SERVE - If you desire for your employees and even their families to have an experience serving in the community, we can provide a simple pathway. One example is our annual flagship event called “Serve the ‘Burg.” This year, on our serve day, 600 volunteers from 51 different churches and businesses served at 30 different locations. 21 different overall projects were carried out. There’s no cost to participate. In addition, there are various serve opportunities available throughout the year. You can simply contact us and let us know you are looking for a serve opportunity for your team.

GIVE TO NEED - You can contribute to a 100% to need fund. Every penny on the dollar goes to meeting needs that align with the strategic plan or vetted emergency needs in the community that arise (for example: disaster relief, health crises, etc…).

GIVE TO MAKE IT ALL HAPPEN - You can give to Come Closer in general, which provides for the people and structure that makes building partnerships and meeting needs happen. This Kingdom effort is built upon relationships, deep connection, and doing all the little things so you don’t have to.
