Approximately 25,000 internationals reside within Spartanburg County. When you live in a country
other than your own, you can feel isolated and alone. The presence of so many people from other
cultures gives Christians an opportunity to show hospitality and share the Gospel in a way that can impacts the nations.  Below are opportunities for you to serve internationals in our city.

World Relief
World Relief works directly with refugees sent to the US for relocation due to persecution or violence. By volunteering with World Relief, you can help welcome these refugees or provide care packages to make their relocation a little smoother. For more information or to get connected, go to

English Crossing
English Crossing has been building relationships
with Upstate internationals since 2013 through free English classes. Volunteer opportunities include teaching, an assistant, a devotion leader, a greeter and many others. Visit  for more information and to get involved.
